DAMMAM: Umer Butt’s brilliant unbeaten 162 helped Gulf Link TFT rout Pak Saudi by 63 runs during the third week of the Matski Maritime first division League organized by Eastern Province Cricket Association, here.

Gulf Link batted first and put up 285 from their stipulated overs. In reply, Pak Saudi were bundled out for 222. Asif 93 and Naseer were the main contributors.

In the Main League, all-round performances by Qaiser and Mubeen enabled Gulf Steel surprise Al-Dossary by 5 wickets. Al-Dossary made first use of the track and were bowled out for 272. Abdul Naheed 74, Akhtar 57 were the main run getters. In reply, Gulf Steel reached the target for the loss of 5 wickets. Qaiser 60, Mubeen 88 and Kashif Zia 40 made sure of their team’s victory.

Half centuries from seasoned Tariq, Tanveer and Raza Abbas guided Al-Ghamdi to their third consecutive win. Al-Ghamdi put on board 242 runs. Tariq Tanveer 59, Raza Abbas 74 were the top scorers. Naveed took 3 wickets for the bowling side. Marooj Rawan tried to make a fight of it but were all out for 221. Naveed 78, Rizwan 52 were their highest scorers. Ahsan did the most damage and claimed 4 victims.

Gyptech Age Dolphins ousts Team Abbasi by 10 wickets win. Team Abbasi were bowled out for 118. Gyptech Dolphins achieved the target without any loss. Saad Sikander 61 and Usman Quddusi 34 remained unbeaten.

Khawar Sohail’s scintillating century and 4-wickets along with all-round support from Tajamal Hayat helped Al-Tuwairqi make short work of Aims Bindelamah by 123 runs. Al-Tuwairqi 291 for 7 (Khawar Sohail 122, Tajamal Hayat 60 not out) beat Aims Bindelamah 168 (Khawar Sohail 4 wickets and Tajamal Hayat 3).

In the first division, Bin Delamah Adpco’s Sadiq Rafique continued his good as he hit his second century in the league, which was laced with 17 fours, to beat Royal Kashmir by 7 wickets. Royal Kashmir 245 for 10 (Arif 60, Ejaz Ahmed 53, Murtaza Lala 60) lost to Bin Delamah Adpco 250 for 3 (Sadiq Rafique 120 not out, Mohd Tanveer 85).

Kashan’s all-round performance was not enough for DHL as EI Plus Arabia beat them by 3 wickets. DHL CC 287 for 9 (Kashan 87, Saif 74; Saleem Dar 4 wickets) lost to EI Plus Arabia 289 for 7 (Zahid Shuja 40, Mouzam 78, Omer Ali 45 not out; Kahsan 3 wickets).

Deccan Challengers bowlers Jaffer (4 wickets) and Syed Yaseen (3 wickets) ran through Bawardi’s batting line-up and scuttled them for 232 runs. Shajeullah 59 and Sameen 42 were the main run getters, which helped them reach the target with 3 wickets in hand. Abdul Qayyum 73, Mannu 44, Mohammed Ayub 38 not out made the win possible for Challengers.

AMPS Friends’s scored a 110-run win over Khobar Badshah. AMPS Friend 293 (Wasay 70, Muraad 66, Kareemuddin 66). Khobar Badshah in reply were bowled out for 183. Ali Iftiqar (66) was the main scorer.

Nikesh Eacha 5 for 51 helped Team Arabia rout Gladiators by five wickets. Team Arabia 255 (Sunil 68, Adarsh 55; Iqbal took 4 wickets. In reply, Gladiators were restricted to 204. Wasim struck a brilliant 94.

Hyderabad Green beat Kashmir XI by 36 runs. Hyderabad Green 252 for 8 (Arsalan 60, Khalid 43). In reply, Kashmir XI were bowled out for 217. Shaukat was the top-scorer with 60.

AZST Young Guns 294 for 9 (Imad 40, Usman 65; Saif 3 Wickets) beat Toya Young Stars 220 for 10 (Rizwan 75, Ali Reza 43; Ammar 3 wickets, Abdullah 4 wickets) by 74 runs.
