Velocity Strikers became the first to reach the most number of Team of the Week victories at three by scoring a perfect 28 points on the way to the team honors duirng the 11 th session in the OFBC Friday Morning League 5+1 Season 3 at the Ice Land Bowling Center here.

Bowling pressure-free against the bye team that gave it an automatic 20 match points Velocity Strikers only needed to outbowl everyone on total output to romp off with the top rank points of 8 for a perfect score.

They did it, carding total pinfalls of 2,667 that none in the field managed to beat with leader Taurus a distant second for 7 points on 2,464 which it posted in a 20-0 shutout of D’ RJ’s Cardinals who returned tota pinfalls of 2,341.

Elsewhere, D’ Luf’s Strikers blanked Cyclone Star 20-0 on total pinfalls of 2,351-2,071, rank points of 5-3 and total points of 25-3 while American Garden won by default over D’Pinbusters 20-0. American Garden had overall output of 2,435 for 6 rank points and 26 total.

Unlike last week when Taurus scored a sweep the session honors this time were evenly distributed with Jhoon Caisip of Taurus and Luf’s’ Carmen Duma claiming the men’s and ladies Bowler of the Week accolades on 609 and 501 respectively.

Velocity team captain Toto Lim led from the front hitting games of 194, 172 and 192. Jojo Esperanzate, Rudy Valenzuela and Vangie Lim supported Toto with full games of 172,149 and 170, 166, 117 and 148 and 122, 145 and 121. Vic Gonzales contibuted two games of 158-161 and Jerry Carredo one game of 155.

Besides Carmen the others that carried the load for Luf’s were Tirso Bambalan 513, Alexander Duma 456, Danny Atubang 419, Cesar Pagtalunan 157-123 and Rommel Marasigan 140.

Caisip claimed back-to-back individual awards as he presided the Taurus charge that also featured 489 an 443 from Regino Mendoza and Minda Guevarra, 130-183 from Erwin Ronquillo and 131-146 from Jun Pamintuan.

American Garden had skipper Bob Stone leading by example on 542 with Louie Pasia on 514. The other scorers were Archie Alcantara 464, Shirley Sagmit 397, Lexter Atienza 131-176 and Tom Langa 135.
