RIYADH: The third biathlon of the season attracted a record 126 competitors with Finn Walls winning his first Riyadh Triathletes event in a very impressive time, a minute and a half ahead of second place and the fastest run split.

The first female went to Mia McDowell with a great all round performance. The fastest swim split went to Adam Taylor with a time of 8 minutes. Unfortunately, he was unable to match such an impressive performance on the run and allowed long term rival Steve Powel to take overall honors. Junior winner went to Jessica Carr. Other category winners were Brett Girven (male open), Edoardo Lando (male Master), Skye Tavers (female Veteran), Carol Puller (Female Veteran), Paul McParland (male Senior), Glenys Henry (female Senior).

The next event will be on Friday with a duathlon event (run-bike-run).
