RIYADH: A fine all-round performance by Shaib Zahideen enabled Lahore Badshah Green get past Eagles Cricket Club by five wickets in the Huraymala League round seven encounter of the Saudi Arabian Investment Bank Cricket Tournament, organized by the Riyadh Cricket Association.
Zahideen first ran through Eagles line-up as he took five wickets. He later dazzled with the bat and scored 66 runs to steer his team an easy win.
In another interesting match, Kashmir Strikers got the better of Super Cricket Club by 19 runs. The highlight of the match was Mehmood Kashif’s 100 runs, which went in vain.
In the Hayer League was PTI edged out Talented Cricket Club by 11 runs.
Green Bangla’s Zakir Hussain and Riyadh Rhinos’ Ches Theckanath claimed five wickets each for their respected teams.
All the other matches tended to be one-sided affairs.
