State-of-the-art hospital in Jeddah

Makkah Gov. Prince Khaled Al-Faisal will sponsor the opening ceremony of Al-Nasim Hospital in Jeddah on June 18. More than 200 people consisting of specialist in the health sector and a number of public and private personalities will attend the ceremony.
Built on an area of 4,000 square meters in the heart of Jeddah, the hospital will be one of the prominent model health facilities in the city. It will provide medical treatment for more than 300,000 people.
Director general of the hospital Ali Al-Ruwili expressed his happiness over the governor's sponsorship of the event commending the tangible support being provided to the health sector to extend consummate medicinal services to the residents.
"Under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah and his crown prince, the government has extended all-out support to the health sector especially the construction of advanced hospitals with up-to-date equipment and modern technology in addition to a qualified medical cadre," he said.
Al-Ruwaili said the hospital, which cost about SR 95 million, has various medical specializations in cardiology, general surgery, internal medicine, ENT, dentistry, dermatology and plastic surgery in addition to special clinics for children. He said the hospital will be manned by 300 consultants, specialists and technical cadre. "The prices are nominal and affordable," he added.
Al-Ruwaili said the hospital consists of three major and three minor operation rooms, a lab, X-ray department, delivery rooms and emergency sections. "We provide hotel standard services to admitted patients," he explained.
The director general said the hospital has medical teams for home examination and treatment using well-equipped ambulances which are supplied with qualified paramedics. "This new and well-equipped hospital will be a landmark in Jeddah," he added.
