UAE and Jordan begin construction of railway to transport phosphate to Red Sea port
- The completed rail link will be capable of transporting about 13m tonnes of phosphate across Jordan each year
- The UAE-Jordan Railway Company project will connect mines in Shidiya in Maan governorate with the Jordanian Red Sea port city of Aqaba
