Middle Eastern designers raise funds for autistic children through online fashion auction

Seventeen regional designers have joined forces to support autistic children in the UAE through an auction of their work on supportspectrum.com. The money raised will benefit the non-profit Senses Residential and Day Care for Special Needs.

    The Lebanese designer, among others, is auctioning off a sunshine yellow dress with floral detailing.   
  2. Marmar Halim
    Marmar Halim
    The Egyptian Dubai-based designer is presenting a full-length copper gown with puffed bell sleeves.  
  3. Okhtein
    Okhtein
    Founded by two sisters, Egyptian brand Okhtein is auctioning off a metallic clutch called the Palmette Oval Minaudière, which has been spotted on the likes of Kourtney Kardashian. 
  4. Hussein Bazaza
    Hussein Bazaza
    The Lebanese designer’s creation for sale is a glitzy high-necked jacket in green. The item’s elevated neckline represents protecting one’s thoughts and not allowing any distractions from the outside, according to the designer.
  5. Jessica K
    Jessica K
    This piece, by Lebanese label Jessica K, is a metallic asymmetrical top with a rounded collar and short, casual sleeves.
  6. Roni Helou
    Roni Helou
    The Lebanese designer is auctioning his Vivica Coat that features a shawl collar on a loose fit kimono design, with wide sleeves and semi-detached cuffs. The fabric’s soft iridescence ranges from an olive green to a subtle blue.
