This in response to Fouzia Khan’s story, “Traffic awareness campaign launched,” (March 12) regarding inauguration of the 29th Gulf Traffic Week by Jeddah Gov. Prince Mishaal bin Majed at Red Sea Mall to raise awareness about traffic rules to reduce accidents on Saudi roads.
There is, however, some confusion related to traffic penalty, which I found on net as being raised to SR 600 from the previous SR 300. However the MoI website shows no change from the previous penalty charges. I hope it will be made clear to us. — Pita Ng Kalookan, By email
