Universal Motors Agencies (UMA), Saudi Arabia's leading General Motors dealer, announced at an event held in its main showroom in Jeddah, the launch of the new Chevrolet Malibu 2013 in all of its showrooms across the Kingdom.
During the event, UMA shed light on Malibu's new features. The new Malibu aims to satisfy all family sedan lovers in the Saudi market. The new Malibu launch in Saudi comes as continuity to the model's huge success achieved in global markets. "The new Chevrolet Malibu is characterized by its innovative and distinctive features and modern style derived from the famous Chevrolet Camaro," said Anees Salamah, national marketing manager, UMA. "With features making it the perfect family car that combines driving efficiency and pleasure, Chevrolet Malibu has always been known for being the popular medium-size family sedan in a number of international markets." Salamah highlighted that the new Malibu introduces high safety standards, comfort and operating characteristics that work coherently to provide an exclusive driving experience and atmosphere enforced by its state-of-the-art noise proof design.
The new Chevrolet Malibu comes with two engine options — a three-liter engine that delivers high performance with a 258-HP generated at 6300 RPM and a 2.4-liter 170-HP highly responsive engine. The new model is equipped with a number of luxury features that integrate with the mighty power of the engine to provide a "more fun to drive" experience. The new engine is considered by many auto experts to be eco-friendly as it achieves an economical fuel consumption of 8.4 liters per each 100 km.
The all-new Malibu comes loaded with a number of additional comfort features that include a remote start-up system that enables cooling down the cabinet before getting into the car. Also included is the Malibu's new sound system.
