Zain KSA has introduced free 4G service for all travelers and visitors at Riyadh’s King Khaled International Airport (KKIA), with a download speed up to 100 Mbit/second.
This makes KKIA the first airport that provides 4G services free of cost in the Kingdom after the company won the high-speed Internet services coverage rights at the airport facilities.
The company said it was currently working to keep up with the global interest in data transfer services in the field of communications, in order to offer its services through the latest network across the Kingdom by providing the highest Internet speeds of all.
The company also indicated it is keen on providing the latest in communication and IT.
The company explained that this step, which comes in cooperation with (KKIA), will contribute to highlight the technical development in the Kingdom to all at the airport. More than 15 million passengers are passing through the airport annually.
The company said the agreement, which it signed previously with the airport, requires it to provide Internet services at KKIA for all users, including passengers and staff.
This calls for the company to do its utmost to the development of the Kingdom based on cooperation between public and private sectors.
The move will help its strong presence in the Kingdom and its superiority in the field of communications and data transfer.
Zain KSA won the airport deal amid a stiff competition from telecommunications service operators in the Kingdom.
