SHAQRA: More than 2,500 students graduated from Shaqra University during a convocation here on Thursday. Dr. Saeed bin Turki Al-Mulla, president of the university, distributed degrees among the graduates.
Al-Mulla emphasized his university’s determination to provide quality education so that students play a significant role in the development of the Kingdom. Dr. Muhammad Al-Zahrani, dean for admission and registration, described the university as one of the biggest institutions of higher learning in the Kingdom with a large number of colleges and students. There are more than 17,000 students on its rolls. “We’ll admit 12,000 students in the new academic year,” Al-Zahrani said.
Shaqra Gov. Muhammad Al-Hilal attended the ceremony.
