Wadjda, the first film shot in Saudi Arabia by a Saudi female filmmaker, Haifa Al-Mansour, will be featured in the Gulf Film Festival (GFF) competition that will take place in Dubai Festival City from April 11— 17.

The Gulf Film Festival, which serves as a platform to develop the local and regional film culture in the Gulf, has this time listed some of the best must-see films from the region in the features competition category. Wadjda tells the story of a girl yearning for a green bicycle.
