I have read two articles one “Aramco investigates bribe report” (Oct. 7) and the other “Aramco: End of a fairy tale” (Oct. 14). The articles about Armaco employees possibly taking bribes come as no surprise to me. Actually this is part of doing business not only with Aramco but with many companies around the world. I know Aramco fights corruption all the time, but it is happening even while I’m writing this letter. I have seen Aramco employees lose their jobs because of accepting bribes, but it continues. Accepting or paying bribes is not an ethical way to do business but it happens everywhere. It would be interesting if Aramco published the findings of its investigation. — D. Pockets, by e-mail
