P.K. Das, director of software technology parks of India (STPI), under the Indian Ministry of Communication and IT, will be the keynote speaker at a seminar being organized by the Saudi Indian Business Network (SIBN) at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) on Nov. 28.

"India, Your Best IT & ITES-BPO Partner" is the theme of the event scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Das will present some of the best practices from the global players in ITES-BPO. Some of Saudi Arabia’s leading companies will share their success stories of outsourcing partnerships.

India garners 55 percent of the global market in offshore IT services and 35 percent of the ITES/BPO market. Moreover, a majority of the Fortune 500 and Global 2000 corporations are sourcing IT/ITES from India.
