Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management, is showcasing its industry leading solutions for hotels at the fourth annual Kingdom Hotel Expansion Summit (KHES) at the InterContinental Hotel, Riyadh, from May 26-27.

It will draw the participation of representatives from the world’s leading hotel, and food and beverage franchises including Accor, Hilton, and the Four Seasons Hotels among others.

The two-day summit is set to connect up to 300 hospitality stakeholders in Saudi Arabia to world-class solution providers including hoteliers and international suppliers in a business-focused environment.

The event comes on the back of forecasts that the Saudi hospitality sector aims to encompass 255,000 hotel rooms creating 2.3 million jobs and catering to an estimated 88 million visitors.

Effecting energy savings of up to 30 percent, Schneider Electric’s range of solutions includes medium and low voltage electrical equipment, building automation systems, automated guestroom controls with pre-set lighting and temperature monitoring; environmental and lighting control that delivers smart energy and purified fresh air throughout the hotels across common spaces such as hallways, spas, meeting rooms, and pool areas, in addition to security solutions for intrusion, detection, total building video surveillance, access control, fire protection, entry and exit lighting, as well as life safety systems.
