Sharjah is going to witness a boost in the manufacturing of plastic products to meet the growing demand from the local and GCC markets.
Alliance Plastics FZE, based in Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF ZONE), has announced their expansion plans to meet this rise in demand for various industrial plastic packaging products.
“We have invested in a plot of 62840 sq feet of land to expand our current operations and the construction work for our new state of the art plant is planned to initiate soon” said Aashish Vaghani, director of Alliance Plastics.
“We are going to invest AED15-AED20 million in phase one of this expansion and have further investment plans within SAIF ZONE for different phases.” he added.
Saud Al-Mazrouei, director of the SAIF ZONE, welcomed the new initiative and wished all the success for Alliance Plastics.
“We assure all help take their business to greater heights,” he said after signing the deal with Alliance Plastics.
Aashish said: “We are involved in manufacturing of plastic pails / buckets for paint, food, lubricants, construction adhesives, etc. We currently have a strong established foothold in the UAE market and export to over nine countries.”
He said: “Our reputed clientele includes major players from various industries in the UAE and GCC. Keeping in mind our growth strategy and our urge to constantly excel to support are clientele with their packaging requirements, we have further decided to increase our production capacities.”
He added: “We intend to be a global player in the field of plastic packaging, majorly staying focused on manufacturing of plastic pails /plastic buckets and related plastic packaging products.”
Aashish said: “We are grateful to SAIF ZONE authority for their quick assistance on understanding the requirements needed to our expansion. We have been operating out SAIF ZONE since mid 2005.”
