A delegation from Umm Al-Qura University in Makkah visited the Public Relations Department of Saudi Arabian Airlines in Jeddah recently.

Abdullah Al-Ajhar, vice president public relations, briefed the delegates on his department’s activities including support services, maintaining good media relations, media production and administrative services.

The delegation led by Mohammed Basarrah visited the airline’s department for administrative services, including its press, design section, studios for producing television programs and audio-visual units and expressed its admiration of the department’s advanced facilities and skilled workers.

Ahmed Tayeb, manager support services, told the delegation that public relations is one of the oldest departments of Saudia since the organization was established about seven decades ago.

The support services section organizes visits of delegations as well as social, cultural and sports activities.
