ABB in Saudi Arabia took part in the Saudi career day held along with the graduation ceremony at the Saudi Embassy for the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, in London.

Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Saudi ambassador to the United Kingdom and Ireland, opened the career day in the presence of Higher Education Minister Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Angari, and Faisal bin Mohammed Abaalkhail, head of Saudi Cultural Bureau.

Zeid Al-Rumaihi, ABB Country HR Manager in Saudi Arabia, Awad Al-Enazy, country training and recruitment manager, and Khalid Mandri, low voltage production division local division manager, represented ABB in Saudi Arabia at the event.

The career day was designed to provide Saudi engineering graduates and final year students pursuing their studies in engineering, technology, finance and business studies in the United Kingdom and neighboring western states an opportunity to meet with senior representatives from leading companies in technology, engineering and financial services in Saudi Arabia who were looking to recruit talented youths.

ABB Saudi Arabia’s participation at the event provided senior management a venue to meet with Saudi engineering graduates and final year students in technology, engineering and finance business in London and, interview and recruit them to the workforce.

The screening of the applicants and their interviews were conducted throughout the day.

ABB in Saudi Arabia is always focusing on attracting qualified and potential Saudi candidates to join its work force and it has been one of the strategies behind its success since inception.

Throughout the years, ABB in Saudi Arabia had initiated several recruitment and Saudization programs aiming to encourage, support and to hire qualified Saudi engineers.
