Al-Marwa Rayhaan by Rotana-Makkah, a key Rotana property and major hotel management company in the MEA, announced the recruitment of 25 young graduates from the Technical College in Makkah, an affiliate of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, through the Duroob program that aims to increase the rate of Saudization at the hotel.

Al-Marwa Rayhaan by Rotana, which overlooks the Grand Mosque in Makkah and has direct access to King Abdulaziz Gate, is one of the first hotels operated by Rotana hotels in the Kingdom.

The management strives to contribute to the empowerment of Saudi citizens and give them a chance to fulfill their role in the development of the national economy in general and hospitality sector in particular through Rotana hotel’s commitment to training and ongoing development within a working environment that stimulates creativity, innovation and excellence.

Mostafa Tantawi, GM, Al-Marwa Rayhaan by Rotana, said: “The new Saudi competencies we employed are currently occupying various positions at the hotel, including human resources, accounting, reception, kitchen, restaurant, engineering and electrical. The graduates will use their knowledge to provide the highest standards of service and to contribute to the development and upgrading of the services offered by Al-Marwa Rayhaan by Rotana.”

The Duroob program addresses unemployment among citizens by bridging the gap between local and foreign workers in the labor market.
