It took place at the Jeddah Center for Forums & Events this month with the support of Prince Mishaal, Governor of Jeddah,

The Ministry of Health, Saudi Food and Drug Authority and the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry also backed the event.

AWAL’s engagement in this dedicated event underscores the company’s ongoing efforts to support and help develop the growth and performance of the local medical sector.

MEDEXPO Saudi Arabia 2013 is an international health care exhibition and forum in the Kingdom that focuses on a wide array of health sectors, including medical, dentistry, ophthalmology, laboratories, pharmaceutical and biotechnology and medical tourism.

The event attracted around 200 exhibitors from 27 countries.

A series of workshops and seminars addressing various topics, including ways of improving health care in the Kingdom, were held on the sidelines of the event and were delivered by leading experts in the medical field.
