Flynas, Saudi Arabia’s national carrier, participated in the "A Step Ahead" career fair for women, which was opened by Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, deputy governor of Riyadh, on Sunday in Riyadh.

“In its capacity as the national carrier of the Kingdom, flynas is strongly committed to playing a leading role in key national events that deal with youth and employment,” stated Sulaiman Al-Hamdan, CEO of NAS Group, of which flynas is a member company.

“Accordingly, flynas is proud to be aviation sponsor of Step Ahead and participate in the career fair as part of our support for women’s empowerment and their inclusion as a vital part of the nation’s work force,” he added.

The two-day career fair consisted of an exhibition and conference. Day one of the conference included a panel discussion on the subject of the potential for women in different industries, with flynas represented by Bandar Al-Dabaan, head of HR relationship management.

Al-Dabaan highlighted the fact that flynas is committed to supporting and empowering Saudi females and reinforcing their role as a key human resources driver in the Kingdom, in light of flynas expansion programs and initiatives.

The airline accommodated and supported employing females in various departments, including administrative, customer services, marketing, and other departments.

The second day of the conference featured a workshop titled Change is Good in which Laila Al-Qureshi, manager of customer and quality services, participated on behalf of flynas.
