The King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) signed an agreement recently with a local investor for its Badir incubators program, dubbed Organization Clinics, to promote HR and CSR programs in the public and private sectors in the Kingdom.

The Organization Clinics, represented by CEO Ibrahim Al-Samhan, signed the accord with Wael Al-Rashid, a businessman and investor, to provide the necessary financial funding to launch the project.

KACST, represented by Badir Program for Technology Incubators, solicits financial support for the Organization Clinics project incubated at Badir and it aims at providing automated services to strengthen and develop the human resources and social responsibility programs in the public and private sectors.

Nawaf Al-Sahaf, chief executive manager of Badir Technology Incubators program at KACST explained that this agreement is the result of the endeavors of the Angel Investors Network (SIRB) recently launched by Badir program.

He spoke of the role the network plays in providing funding opportunities and opening new channels for financial allocation and support as well as assisting Saudi entrepreneurs in transforming viable ideas and innovations into successful technological investment projects that would help diversify the national economy and create job opportunities for young Saudi nationals.

Nawaf explained Badir’s success in attracting angel investors to support the incubated projects and satisfy the financial requirements of technology projects at an early stage.

Al-Rashid, emphasized the importance of investing in the field of technology and in the support of Saudi entrepreneurs.

Al-Samhan said the agreement would support the development of this ambitious project that aims to change the operational approach utilized by firms from the traditional to an up-to-date practice that would ensure a sustainable growth for the business and provide additional services for less the cost.
