LuLu Hypermarket has unveiled a number of special Ramadan offers and discounts that aim to bring ease and convenience to shoppers.
The retail giant has introduced pre-packaged Ramadan kits with all the essentials; these easy-to-pick-up kits come in two sizes, priced at SR99 ($26) and SR199, respectively.
For the duration of the holy month, LuLu will launch traditional food stations, themed Meat Fest, Dates and Nuts, Ramadan Nights, and Sweet Treats — Dessert Festival. Moreover, a new concept, Souk Al-Fawakeh, will offer customers fresh fruits and vegetables in bulk packages at competitive prices. These packages feature 30 exotic fruits for the entire month.
Shehim Mohammed, director of LuLu Hypermarket, Saudi Arabia, said: “We have launched offers on products and Ramadan kits to make grocery shopping easier and more convenient. Our promotion sections in stores are fuller and wider with lots of product essentials offered with great discounts. The same offers are also available in our online shopping with deals and promotions to ensure safe shopping for those who do not want to buy from stores.”
Collaboration with Saudi Food Bank
In partnership with the Saudi Food Bank, LuLu is giving its shoppers several opportunities to do good and earn rewards in the holy month. LuLu will launch iftar boxes featuring convenient packs of post-fasting essential meals that customers can buy for SR15 or SR99 each. There is also an option to donate that amount, which will be used by the Saudi Food Bank to distribute iftar boxes to the needy. Additionally, in line with the spirit of giving in the holy month, LuLu has launched Ramadan-themed cards that will provide a unique shopping experience for customers. These cards can be availed for iftar or sahoor. The cards are priced at SR15, which can be used for a day, and SR150, which can be availed for 60 days.
Collaboration with Saudi Post
For those who want to gift goodies to their family and friends, LuLu has unveiled themed Ramadan boxes. Customers can select their goodies and curate their boxes. The boxes can be sent anywhere in the world through Saudi Post; LuLu has arranged a 10 percent discount on courier charges for this service. For the convenience of shoppers, there will be a Saudi Post booth in LuLu stores across Riyadh, Jeddah and Alkhobar, through which they can mail the gift boxes.
Catering to new lifestyles
LuLu is also introducing special keto and vegan iftar dishes for customers with specific diet requirements. As for the health-conscious shoppers, LuLu has got them covered too.
Ramadan souq
Ramadan souq will feature the best deals in the home, kitchen and decor departments. In addition, the Ramadan Home festival will feature attractive offers on kitchen and home appliances.
Convenient e-receipts
E-receipts make it easier for customers to keep track of their invoices by serving as digital evidence for their warranties. By making the receipts digital, LuLu intends to give customers a better shopping experience. The aim is to also follow a sustainable model where the environment is not adversely affected.
Exclusive online discount
Customers can avail a 30 percent discount on their total bills when exclusively shopping online. This is applicable on all Fridays and Saturdays of April. A maximum of SR75 can be availed for all orders above SR100.
Coffee calling
LuLu will also participate in the “Year of Saudi Coffee” initiative launched earlier this year by the Ministry of Culture, by promoting the aromatic Saudi coffee (prepared powder and beans) during Ramadan.
