Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh has scooped up the “luxury design hotel” award in the country winner category.

The honor came at the World Luxury Hotel Awards show in Phuket, Thailand.

The hotel has undergone a complete renovation over a period of several months, executed by British architectural and interiors firm GA Design.

The renovation features new jewel-toned design schemes in all hotel room and suite offerings, as well as structural and aesthetic changes in public areas such as the hotel entrance, reception, lobby lounge, guest room corridors and floor lobbies, in addition to the refurbished restaurants Elements, Rosso and The Grill.

“At Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh, our commitment to superior service and personalized attention has guided some of the decisions we have taken in terms of room layout, as well as the facilities and amenities we have chosen to incorporate in the upgraded room and suite offerings and in the Hotel’s public areas,” says Greg Pirkle, general manager of the hotel.

“Our aim is to grant our guests — who come to Riyadh from all across the world — a physical product and an experience that is comparable with the very best,” he said.

The World Luxury Hotel Awards is considered the pinnacle of achievement for luxury hotels worldwide.

The Awards account for 50 categories in the luxury hotel industry and winners are judged on service delivery and effective management.

The winners are voted for by international tour operators, travel agents and hotel guests, making the process objective and unbiased.
