Mawj Telecom will be one of two local companies to represent the Kingdom in the Mobile World Congress Exhibition to be held in Barcelona, Spain, from Feb. 24 to 27. The other one is the Saudi Telecom Company (STC).

“It's an honor for Mawj Telecom to be one of two companies to represent the Kingdom in the exhibition that attracts major companies from all over the world,” said Abdullah bin Zaid Al-Melehi, Mawj Telecom CEO.

He said that the exhibition, to be participated in by 1,700 exhibitors, is the blueprint for the next big innovation and that what is coming next will likely be born at the Mobile World Congress.

Al-Melehi said that in partnership with specialized Singaporean companies, Mawj Telecom will offer a new product specializing in following up all mobile means and that it's considered revolutionary in the telecommunications sector.

He said that he had anticipated a huge demand for this product by telecommunications firms in Saudi Arabia and other part of the Middle East.

Also unprecedented, according to Al Melehi, is the launch of a Wat Ts APP like program that is safe to use, designed with high tech, anti-hacking device and featured with easy and safe information and photos exchange.

“The launch of these products by Mawj Telecom is considered as the first to be offered by a Saudi company for the Middle East telecommunications amrket,” he said.

Mawj Telecom, a Saudi company established in 2010, is part of the Al-Ramez International Group, which is planning to expand in the region in 2014.
