Nooter/Eriksen Saudi Ltd. is a newly established In-Kingdom company, formed by Nooter/Eriksen (market leader and technology owner of Heat Recovery Steam Generators for Power generation) and Al-Zamil Heavy Industries Ltd. (a Saudi Arabian privately owned company, specialized in manufacturing capital equipment utilized in the oil, gas, petrochemical and power generation industries).

The company is currently in the stage of completing its registration formalities while at the same time is progressing steadily toward the completion of the first HRSG produced in-Kingdom; such unit will be operated in Ras Abu Fontas A2 — Power and Water Plant (owned by Qatar Electricity and Water Company) and is designed to produce process steam for the new desalination units.

Nooter/Eriksen has already developed several manufacturing facilities all over the world and is extensively supporting Al-Zamil in developing the specific expertise in manufacturing HRSGs, thus adding a new line of product to the successful existing ones.

Nooter/Eriksen Saudi Ltd., by means of its intensive training program and technology transfer plans, will contribute to the progression the Saudi engineering and industrial capabilities with special focus in fostering the development of young generation talents thus bringing high value to the social development of the country.

Other diversified products planned to be manufactured in ZHI factory of Rabigh are the Once Through Heat Recovery Boiler for Enhanced Oil Recovery (for steam injection in the oil reservoirs to improve viscosity and therefore to increase oil production) and Solar Receiver to be installed on top of the tower of Concentrated Solar Plant (CSP).

In summary, N/E Saudi Ltd. target is to participate to the huge development program of Power Generation in SA, to become the center of excellence in HRSGs in the Kingdom, to accomplish government requirements to develop Saudi Arabia by transferring technology into the Kingdom, to bring N/E design and implementation capabilities as well as to utilize extensively and enhance Al-Zamil high quality of manufacturing, and eventually to play a significant role in the Renewable Energy program (KACARE).
