With the aim to continuing to support outstanding performance, Rawabi Holding Group concludes the Rawabi Holding Internship Program ran as part of its youth empowerment platform under its CSR umbrella.

The internship lasted two months, from June 8 to July 31.

This internship initiative aims at developing university students’ skill sets and work ethics, giving them valuable insight and increasing their knowledge not only of postgraduate life but about themselves and their future as well.

The program succeeded in attracting a large number of applicants through its preceding program the Rawabi Annual Talent Exhibit, where applications were open alongside cooperation with local universities in order to cover the Eastern Province college students and fresh graduates.

Twenty-three interns, who were selected after undergoing a thorough interview and evaluation process, were treated as official employees from day one with set objectives and expectations.

The interns were divided between 7 departments and business units, including HR, finance, legal, corporate communications, IT, internal audit, and other business units.

Hanaa Al-Moaibed, group corporate communications manager, explained that Rawabi Holding provides trainees with the skills to self-confidence through its training program, which pushes them to take on all job tasks and responsibilities enlisted on their work plan; a precious lesson before deciding to take on any job in the future.

“Our internship program gives one access into the business world without pressure or anxiety while ensuring they are fairly and fully prepared to enroll for any openings available in Rawabi Holding Group or anywhere else,” she added.

As part of the internship, the interns participated in preparing for the Ramadan fundraising program, and presented afterward their internship reports and were granted their certificates by Group Chairman Abdulaziz bin Ali Al-Turki and Group President & CEO Osman Ibrahim.

A highlight of Rawabi Holding’s CSR programs remains the Annual Rawabi Talent Exhibit, which is built on the concept of self-discovery and aims at empowering youth.
