Samsung Electronics SA, a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies, kicked off its global Launching People campaign in January.
The program is rooted in discovering, sharing and supporting the potential of individuals across the Kingdom who are using technology to explore their dreams and passions, and send their entries through a dedicated Facebook application.
The campaign has to date been able to reach out to more than 8 million online enthusiasts across Saudi Arabia.
Interested consumers are partaking and sharing their own story through the dedicated online site, which will lead visitors to a specialized Facebook application that highlights the instructions and outlines on taking part in the program and step by step submit entries.
“Launching People brings with it a valuable and unique opportunity to the Saudi community to unleash their potentials through showcasing their innovative ideas to challenge themselves and presenting their best work, and have the chance to be selected and grow with Samsung,” said JaeCheon Park, general manager at Samsung Electronics Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
“Samsung’s culture of innovation is reaching beyond products to help people everywhere realize their potential for how technology can make a difference in their lives and the lives of others through improving their community and acting as positive change agents”.
