STC presented a white paper at Digital Grids and Smart Cities Summit in Riyadh recently.

Many IT and telecom companies took part in the event.

STC’s participation at the summit highlighted its active role, strategic plans and other initiatives aimed at building a knowledge economy in the Kingdom similar to that of developed countries.

Ahmed Al-Mazeed, STC general manager, strategies, and delegate to the summit, focused on the global landmarks in the knowledge economy and the readiness showed by Saudi economy for digital transformation, advantages and the role played by STC in the path toward these objectives.

Currently, STC engages in many initiatives with state and private sectors to bring about this transformation that would uplift the Saudi economy in general.
