Beginning Wednesday until April 18, daily Movenpick Hotel Al Khobar’s buffet venue, The Blue, will set the scene for a smorgasbord of Turkish delicacies for its 10-day ‘Taste of Turkey’ event.

Two renowned chefs from Movenpick Hotel Istanbul are being flown in to prepare a range of authentic Turkish specialties such as mezze, oven fresh lahmacun, kofte, dolma, kurufasulye, kebaps, manti, bulgur pilavi, mucver and more.

“Turkish cuisine is one of the best in the world. The combination of flavors and ingredients are blended together to form dishes historically influenced by a number of cultures, mostly a heritage of Ottoman cuisine,” said Chef Michel Breliere, executive chef of Movenpick Hotel Al Khobar.

“Apart from sampling and enjoying a wide array of Turkish favorites, we also invite our guests to interact and trade recipes with our visiting master chefs,” he added.

Adjacent to The Blue positions a genuine Turkish-style bazaar where guests can explore and purchase traditional items and artifacts.

Further, each diner is entitled to enter the raffle draw for a chance to win one of three return tickets courtesy of Turkish Airlines along with a complimentary stay at a Movenpick hotel in Turkey.
