Thimar Aljazirah Company organized a ceremony recently at its Riyadh-based headquarter to reward the distinguished employees for their outstanding performance in 2013.

Company President Fahad Ibrahim Alnamlah attended the event with the firm’s higher and middle management.

The company introduced a new employee recognition program last year under the umbrella of its corporate development initiative, the president stated.

Alnamlah said the employee recognition program is managed by a committee that creates the general guidelines and administers the program on quarterly basis.

The selection criteria of employees with outstanding and excellent performance include good HR record, quality of work, achievement of goals, team work, and solicited feedback from colleagues on performance, attitude and behavior.

The selection criteria change every quarter to reflect the organizational goals that are aligned with the annual strategic objectives of the company.

On the other hand, the president explains, the selected performance and excellence indicators echo the guiding principles and higher values of the company, which include maintaining customer trust, exceeding customer expectation, and creating and sustaining a transparent, motivating and productive environment in addition to aspiring to achieve highest quality standards.

The 18 award-winners work in different departments and work in various company office across the Kingdom. The grand prize winner gained a trip for two to Istanbul for several nights in a luxury hotel, including the ticket, whereas other staff received gift vouchers.

The president of Thimar Aljazirah, a health care company established in 1980, highlighted the interest of the company in maintaining a productive, motivating environment to ensure sustainability and retention of human resources, with overall better organizational performance and increasing customer satisfaction key performance indicators as among the positive results.

Alnamlah emphasized the importance of maintaining the good reputation his company earned over 3 decades in the medical supplies, devices and products market.
