Toll dnata has announced that their Adelaide airport team has been awarded ‘Best Customer Check In’ and ‘Best Customer Boarding’ at the recent Cathay Pacific global service awards.
The awards are based on information received directly from Cathay Pacific’s customers and the Toll dnata team received the 2012 award despite strong competition across Cathay’s global network.
Toll dnata is a joint venture between dnata — one of the world’s largest combined air services providers — and Australia’s Toll Group — the Asia Pacific region’s leading provider of transport and logistics.
“Receiving an award is testimony to the dedication and commitment of our team in providing an exceptionally high quality service to our customers,” said Stewart Angus, divisional senior vice president of dnata’s international businesses.
“We particularly value this award, as it comes from an airline recognized as one of the world’s most prestigious carriers,” he said.
The Toll dnata joint venture currently services more than 20 airline customers, employs more than 1,800 staff across Australia and handles almost 40,000 cargo and passenger flights a year. The team recently recruited more than 170 new employees in order to service its expanding business.
Further expanding the geographic reach of the business, Toll dnata has recently set up a new operation at Cairns Airport in far north Queensland, increasing the business to a presence at seven airports across Australia.
Commitment to all customers, whether new or existing, remains a focus for Toll dnata. Investment is being made in new cargo terminals and refurbishments to existing terminals in all locations across Australia. The management team is also devoting time and expertise to the training and development of staff to ensure the business continues to deliver the service customers expect.
Toll dnata have invested in additional ground support equipment.
