Alfanar becomes the first company in the Middle East to receive three ISO certifications for IT Service Management (ISO 20000), Business Continuity (ISO 22301) and Information Security (ISO 27001) — collectively known as the Integrated Management System.

Being involved in various sectors, alfanar, has generously invested in advanced technologies and management systems to provide secure, efficient and highly available systems through standardization and best practices, thereby increasing executive management and customer confidence with regards to business continuity and data integrity.

The basis for receiving such a certification from an international audit and certification agency was manifold, many of which were the Group IT departments’ persistence in the development, operation and monitoring, Information Security Management System (ISMS) designed to effectively manage ongoing risk, and providing appropriate protection for corporate and customer information.

The Group IT department was also successful in improving the performance of services provided to the clients, and in raising the level of services to satisfy the customer in a highly available and reliable manner.

The certification eligibility program was completed in less than six months, including the period of testing and the stringent audit process, enabling alfanar to be the first company in the region to acquire the trio of ISO certificates. The certificate categories — ISO 20000, ISO 27001, ISO 22301 — awarded to alfanar characterize the high levels of IT service management, security and business continuity.
