Saudi Total Lubricants Co. Ltd. (Total) participated in the 3rd edition of the Saudi Downstream Exhibition 2014, which was held with the support of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah in Yanbu Industrial City on March 4-5, and hosted by the Royal Commission for Jubail & Yanbu.

Total took this opportunity to present its range of industrial lubricants, special fluids and other specialized services for the downstream segment. Throughout the two days of the event, Total’s stall managed to catch the attention of the audience who flocked in big numbers and asked generic and specific questions on Total’s products and presence in the Kingdom.

A high-profile delegation from Total, including the group representative to Saudi Arabia and representatives from the head office in Paris were also present during the exhibition.

Nizar Raydan, MD, Saudi Total Lubricants Co. Ltd., said: “This year's edition of downstream exhibition was marked by great interest of experts and industrialists in various industry sectors, particularly in the petrochemicals segment. Total’s strong customer references in the Kingdom help to understand the requirements of the downstream segment and it is our keen desire to keep on working with our partners to offer the latest range of products and services."

He added that the company's products cover needs of a wide range of sectors, including cement factories, steel plants, mining, oil and gas sector, petrochemicals, marine and general manufacturing industries.

The exhibition attracted more than 450 officials and industrial delegations, as well as about 50 exhibitors and more than 22,000 visitors, many of them engineers, industrialists and businessmen.

Raydan added: "Total is committed to serving industrial customers with the most advanced products and this participation was an extension of that ideology. With our new blending in KAEC serving the customers, we are keen to take this relationship to the next level."
