Mobily, Saudi Electronic University launch free training for Android app developers

Etihad Etisalat (Mobily), in collaboration with Dammam-based Saudi Electronic University, launched the second phase of free training course for app developers.
This session focuses on training for programming smart devices running on Android operating system. The training seeks to target Saudi youth interested in the world of app development.
The course consists of 40 hours of study and focuses on building complete app for Android operating system. The sessions are held on a daily basis under the supervision of experts of highest caliber.
These free of charge courses provide a unique opportunity for all interested to understand the process of app design, development and connectivity. Last week, Mobily conducted the first phase of this initiative. It focused on IOS operating system-based development in Jeddah and the Western Region.
The first phase was carried out in collaboration with the faculty of computing and information technology at King Abdul Aziz University (KAU). The course concluded with distribution of certificates to the participants, handed over by Mobily and KAU management.
This initiative is part of larger umbrella of Mobily Community for App Developers; the website provides a range of educational material, news and video clips regarding community development and key initiatives in the area of application development on iPhone, BlackBerry and Android.
