InterContinental Jubail has partnered with the municipality and governorate of Jubail to contribute to the success of the National Day celebrations and activities that are taking place at Jubail Corniche under the patronage of Jubail Governor Bader Al-Otaishan.
InterContinental General Manager Fahad Al-Sayegh said the celebrations include the traditional ardha dance, fireworks, cultural shows and children's program. Hundreds of families and individuals are expected to attend the celebrations.
InterContinental Jubail has teamed up cleaned the beach and corniche area designated to host the event ahead of time. At the same time, the hotel has sponsored the catering of the event through extended refreshments and snacks to the audiences and VIPs. On top of that there will be a free transportation introduced to the hotel's guests so that they can attend and enjoy the celebrations.
David Jerome, Senior Vice President of Corporate Responsibility, IHG says: "IHG understands that acting responsibly reinforces trust in our brands, builds competitive advantage and strengthens our corporate reputation whilst doing the right thing for our communities. And with hotels all over the world, we have a tremendous opportunity to make travel and tourism more responsible and successful."
