This is with reference to the report “Erdogan tells UK paper: Know your limits” (June 7). It is useless to criticize the western press. Had the mainstream western media been honest and unbiased, the world would have been a different place. President Erdogan has become a favorite subject of the western media. The reason is simple i.e. he is sincerely working for the development of his country, which happens to be a Muslim country. Secondly, under Erdogan Turkey is moving to its Islamic roots — another reason for the uneasiness of the self-appointed custodians of civilization.
