Three Saudis started a website to provide people in Saudi Arabia the best way to find doctors from different fields in Saudi Arabia. The website was founded in Jeddah and serves both Riyadh and Jeddah, hoping to expand nationwide.

6abeeb.com is a platform where patients and doctors can connect easier than ever before. Patients can browse through 6abeeb.com’s doctors and find out about their education, the languages they speak, awards they received, and more. “This will allow for a greater level of comfort for a patient, who can make an informed decision, and it offers more exposure for the doctors,” said co-founder of the website Hadi Al-Harith. “Patients and doctors are also allowed to communicate before meeting for the sake of any preparation. After finding an appropriate doctor, patients may see what time slots are available for the doctor of their choice and create an appointment at their convenience,” he added.

It all started when one of the co-founders was sick and realized they had to call every woman they knew to ask for a recommended doctor. “In the end the same bunch of doctors kept recurring. When calling to make an appointment, the wait was long enough my business partner’s body to heal on its own,” said Al-Harith. “So we decided to create a platform to give an opportunity to well-qualified doctors out there that are not getting their fair share of the limelight. In doing so, we are also hoping to help raise the standard of the medical experience. Booking an appointment with a doctor has never been easier,” he added.

Al-Harith and other co-founders Talal Bahiti and Hilal Al-Harith have launched the website in a fully functional open beta phase. This means that the site works, but needs some additional tweaks. Patients and doctors alike are invited to partake in the website and leave as much feedback as possible. “Patients should invite as many doctors as they can. In the end, it is a platform for them. We will eventually introduce our mobile apps and other exciting features with the official launch of the site,” said Al-Harith.
