JERUSALEM: A Palestinian official says Israeli police have handed home demolition notices to shocked families of two attackers from east Jerusalem.

Adnand Husseini, a Palestinian Authority minister for Jerusalem affairs, says the families of Ibrahim Al-Akari and Moataz Hijazi received the notices on Thursday.

Akari was shot dead by security forces after killing two Israelis earlier this month when he rammed his car into a Jerusalem light rail station. Israeli policemen also killed Hijazi after he seriously wounded an Israeli activist.
