LuLu Hypermarket has come alive with Food Fiesta 2013, its fourth annual food festival, offering nutritional and healthy varieties to food connoisseurs.
The festival, which kicked off on Wednesday (April 24) and continues up to May 10, is designed to celebrate its diverse range of food, "irrespective of whether you're a stick-to-what-you-know type or a culinary adventurist."
LuLu Hypermarket’s Hot Food and other sections have joined forces for the annual culinary festival.
Mohammed Muhsin Al-Othaibi was the chief guest at the festival's inauguration at LuLu Hypermarket, Murabba, Riyadh on its opening day (Wednesday).
Muhzin Al-Marzooki, director of public relations, Dammam Municipality, was the chief guest at its inauguration in Alkhobar on the same day.
For two days from today (April 27), there will be a Meat Fest, where LuLu is exhibiting a wide range of local and imported high quality meat and various meat related food products.
For the first time in Saudi Arabia, LuLu is conducting Vita Days on April 29 and 30 for its health conscious customers. On offer will be a range of items gathered from across the world to help support health and improve vitality.
Celebrating the flavor of delicious biryani dishes, LuLu is holding a food fest titled "Wah! Biryani Fest" where it is presenting an amalgamation of various kinds of biryani, from May 1 to 3.
There will be a Saudi Fest & Bake Fest from May 4 to 7, where the citizens and expatriates can taste many gastronomic delights, ranging from Arabic and Indian cuisines to continental and oriental delicacies, cooked and supplied by local chefs and presented as street food.
Sweets prepared by the experts in the bakery section will be the special attraction of the festival.
To cater to the Far Eastern taste buds, LuLu is conducting an Oriental Fest from May 8 to 10; its Hot Food section will be ready to serve Chinese and Thai food varieties.
The visitors will be able to munch around at the variety of food stalls arranged at LuLu Hypermarket.
There is even a chance to get those burning culinary questions answered at the festival food clinic.
During the festival weeks LuLu’s other departments like Roastery, Garments, Electronics, Home Appliances, Household, etc. will be offering special discounts and attractive deals.
The festival hosted a cookery contest at LuLu Hypermarket on Wednesday (April 24) with open air culinary cooking workshops and cookery demonstrations led by men, women and children on the gastronomic block.
