The Philippine Embassy will send an Embassy-on-Wheels (EOW) team to Hafr Al-Batin on June 13-14 to render consular services at the Ramada Hotel to overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).
“The services to be offered during the two-day EOW will be passport renewals, notarials and authentification of documents,” Ambassador Ezzedin H. Tago said in a statement.
Regular passport renewal applicants need to obtain an appointment schedule through the embassy’s website, www.philembassy-riyadh.org.
Applicants are advised to bring their original passports and photocopy of the data page of the passport.
Applicants for other consular services do not need an appointment and are also advised to bring the original and photocopy of the documents.
The EOW team will also process travel documents, passport and renewal or extensions and lost passports for irregular Filipino workers who are covered by the ongoing Nitaqat grace period by the Saudi government.
Irregular Filipino workers applying for travel documents must bring a photocopy of their last passport or any Philippine ID. Those applying for lost passport services must bring a copy of the passport that was lost or at least remember the passport number.
The EOW will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 13 (Thursday), and from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. the following day.
