Investment conference: STC honored for supportive role

Najran Gov. Prince Mishaal bin Abdullah has honored Saudi Telecom Company (STC) for sponsoring Najran’s second investment forum.
The forum is themed “Najran, the territory of unlimited opportunities,” which ends Monday (Sept. 9) after a three-day run.
Khalid Biyari, STC Group’s SVP for technology and operations, received the recognition shield from Prince Mishaal.
The prince expressed his thanks to STC for supporting the investment forum in Najran district and appreciated the company for its consistent contribution to development and social investment by introducing many projects and activities that are of interest to the nation and the citizens.
STC says its sponsorship of the event is part of the company’s policy to support national projects, particularly in Najran area that has tremendous investment potential for feasible projects.
STC took part in the event through its dedicated wing that focuses on the latest telecom technologies with advanced services that are beneficial to business and industry, the company stated, adding that it has been able to build the Kingdom’s communication and information technology infrastructure covering most of the segments of business.
