flynas aviation sponsor of career fair for women

flynas, Saudi Arabia’s national carrier, has signed a cooperation contract as aviation sponsor of the "A Step Ahead" Career Fair for women, which is to take place from April 6-8 at Al Faisaliah Hotel, Riyadh.
The contract was signed by Khalid Al-Khudair, CEO of Glowork, who is organizing the event and Naiem Al-Shabanah, executive director group HR and administration of flynas, and Wael Al-Sarhan, director of marketing and communication of flynas at a ceremony held at NAS Holding head office in Riyadh on Thursday.
“As Saudi Arabia’s national carrier, flynas is committed to supporting programs and events that contribute to the Kingdom’s social and economic development,” stated Al-Sarhan. “In this context, the objectives of A Step Ahead are of the highest importance since they align with our belief in the empowerment of Saudi women and their role as a vital part of the nation’s work force.”
“Our sponsorship of A Step Ahead is one of many activities that flynas is supporting this year as part of our social responsibility programs which define our role as a proactive member of the community in which we operate,” he added.
“A Step Ahead is a Saudi-centric, two-day career fair for women ranging from senior university students to fresh graduates from around the Kingdom. The 6 step program is designed to aid women in becoming active participants in the Kingdom’s booming workforce by enriching their personal skills in searching for employment opportunities,” he added.
Al-Khudair said: “A Step Ahead is a collective effort between Glowork, the private sector, universities and the government. The event is also supported by the Riyadh Hub Global Shapers, which is part of the World Economic Forum community.
Since implementing its new identity that is part of the airline’s growth strategy targeting 20 million passengers a year by 2020, flynas is significantly increasing its social responsibility activities to reflect its position as leading Saudi company dedicated to serving the nation and its people across all sectors of the community.
