A Bangladeshi cleaner who allegedly stabbed his colleague to death in Makkah on Sunday has been caught in Jeddah by police.
Police said the suspect worked at a prominent cleaning company in Makkah and had stabbed his fellow colleague, a garbage truck driver, several times at their accommodation in Al-Kakiya in south Makkah on Sunday evening, after which he had fled to Jeddah.
Nawwaf Al-Bouq, Jeddah police spokesman, said police teams tracked the man after receiving information on his whereabouts. Al-Bouq reiterated that neighborhoods are monitored to maintain security in the city.
