Saudi Hollandi Bank (SHB) announced the appointment of May bint Mohammed Al-Hoshan as the GM for the organization’s HR department.
Al-Hoshan will become the most senior female executive at the bank, in a move that underlines Saudi Hollandi’s commitment to hiring and promoting Saudi women to leadership positions.
Al-Hoshan comes to SHB following an extensive career in the banking sector. She was previously head of human capital management at NCB Capital, where she set up the function seven years back following the establishment of the investment bank. Prior to this, Al-Hoshan held several roles in HR at National Commercial Bank (NCB).
“She brings with her extensive experience in organizational development, benefits and incentives, and in establishing performance management and succession planning systems that support cross-functional team building,” says Bernd Van Linder, MD, SHB. “We’re always looking for talented Saudi men and women to take up leadership roles at Saudi Hollandi and May will be a real asset to the organization as we continue to expand our services and grow the organization.”
Al-Hoshan holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and organizational behavior from Boston University's School of Management. She also holds a Master's degree in knowledge management from George Washington University.
