Unbeaten MCH, Crown Steel enter WPCA semis

JEDDAH: Unbeaten My Care Hala will take on AOT while Crown Steel cross swords with Dopco Stars in the Premier League semifinals Twenty20 cricket tournament, organized by the Western Province Cricket Association here.
In the Morning Summer League, Crown Blue, Brasa De Brazil, New Young Stars, Myaco, ALJ Toyota, Al Mazroi, MCH Green and QRCC have entered the quarterfinals.
The highlight of the day was a hat trick by Islamic Development Bank of India’s Babar while My Care Hala’s Mozzam Shoukat cracked a ton.
My Care Hala maintaining their undefeated record this whole season won against Dopco Stars by 8 wkts.
Dopco Stars put on board 220 for 5 against Dopco Stars. Mazher Abbasi hammered 84 runs supported Imran’s 65. The duo put on 156 runs for the second wickets. Later, Nadeem chipped in with 26. Mohammed Amjad bagged 4 for 35.
The team to beat this season, MCH reached 223 for 2. Thanks to Moazzam Shoukat’s unbeaten 100, which came off 56 balls. Kashif Shafeeq also impressed with 69 runs. Both batsmen were involved in a 116 run partnership. Tairq remained unbeaten on 26 runs.
In another match of the same division, Islamic Development Bank thrashed Al-Ghamdi Cricket Stars by 7 wickets. Al-Ghamdi were bundled out for 121 runs. Babar claimed 4 for 20 including a hat trick while Yasir got 3 for 29. IDB raced to victory target and scored 125 for 3 off 83 balls. Farooq scored an unbeaten 42 runs while Ramazan was not out on 27.
