The Khamis Mushayt Municipality is set to open the Bahis village bridge project on the main highway this week.
Misfer Al-Wadai, head of the municipality, said a Chinese company built the bridge for SR26 million in six months, before the deadline.
Al-Wadai said there are several projects under way that would change the face of the province including a subway and bridge near the local prison. This forms part of several traffic signals being installed including in Al-Haraj and Al-Fath.
Al-Wadai said the projects would significantly reduce traffic in the area.
