The Express Tribune: Adiala officials deny knowledge of Sharif offer

July 21: The Express Tribune report by Rameez Khan states that the Adiala Jail authorities have denied knowledge of any offer from the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif to pay fine of prisoners, sources told The Express Tribune. The well-placed officials in the government have disclosed that the news, which floated in the media regarding the offer made by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Sharif to Adiala Jail authorities for paying the fine of prisoners was baseless.
