August 14: Pakistan Observer states that Hurriyat leaders and Kashmiri organizations have felicitated people of Pakistan on the eve of the country’s Independence Day being celebrated on Tuesday with a rebirth spirit. Kashmiris had pledge their fraternal bonds with Pakistan when Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah paid a 2-month long extensive visit to Jammu and Kashmir from May 29 to July 27, 1944 on the joint ivitation of Muslim Conference and National Conference .
