DUBAI: US eyewear label Oakley re-launched one of the 90s’ most popular frames, but with a modern take.
The brand released its Re:SubZero frame, weighing 24 grams, used for running and training.
The glasses, which come in black and vibrant blue and orange colors, are created to wrap securely around the eyes.
“In times like the one we are living, we have the duty to inspire people to use sports as a platform to a better life,” said Caio Amato, Oakley’s global head of marketing, in a released statement.
“Re:SubZero is a result of our obsession with creating a great experience [for] consumers to relieve the heavy weight each one is carrying, regardless of their levels,” added Amato. “It is 40 years of heavy innovation, in just 24g!”
